What’s the difference between a home theater and a distributed audio system?
A home theater is a dedicated space designed and calibrated for movies or media — seating, screen or projector, and sound tuned to that specific room. Distributed audio is music (and sometimes video) available throughout multiple rooms or zones of a property, controlled centrally. Many clients have both; they’re designed differently.
Can I control entertainment from the same app as my lighting and climate?
Yes, if you have or add Control4 smart home automation — entertainment, lighting, and climate can all run from one app and one set of scenes, rather than separate systems.
Do you install outdoor entertainment systems?
Yes. Outdoor and pool-area audio and video are common requests, and are installed with equipment and wiring rated for outdoor conditions — not standard indoor components moved outside.
Will the equipment be visible, or can it be hidden?
Both options exist. Recessed and in-wall speakers, hidden equipment racks, and flush-mounted displays are all common — we design around your preference for visible versus hidden equipment.
Can I add rooms or zones later?
Yes, if the initial system is designed with expansion in mind — which is part of why the design phase matters as much as the installation.
